Small bathroom dceor ideas and tips
Bathrooms are more than just a place to take of your daily necessities. All those looking to buy and build homes usually opt for smaller bathrooms as one should definitely enjoy being in their bathroom but it would be foolishness for a bathroom to take over the rest of their home. According to me an ideal bathroom is a place which is  visually appealing and provides escape from the stresses of daily life!
All those who have rented apartments are left with no choice but to find ways to make their super small bathroom comfortable and relaxing . I have heard a lot of them complaining how hard it is to fit in everything in a small bathroom!
To fit everything into a snug bathroom space is like doing a giant crossword puzzle! Plus designing a small bathroom in a way that it looks relax able and luxurious is a feat only few have managed to conquer! There are a number of sites that help you design the perfect bathroom among which Homify is my favorite ! They help in creating a functional and storage-friendly bathroom which is exactly what our home needs! With the amount of time spent in our bathroom, professionals selling products at Homify make sure every design element has a purpose and is functional in some way or another to create a space saver-friendly sanctuary which excels in efficiency, comfort, and aesthetics !

If your small bathroom is supposed to accommodate two people at once then you can include two vanities, each with a sink and mirror or one long vanity with two sinks. Vanities have gotten smarter. A stylish one shelf can hold towels or a basket for toilet paper.

What To Wear To A Wedding ? - 8 Must Haves !
August 08, 20150 Comments
Must haves for every wedding occasion
With India ranking second among the most populated you can understand when every other day is a wedding day here ! Indians be like ‘kal uski shadi, pasrso uski mama ki beti ki shadi , narso uske chacha ke aunty ke cosuin ki shadi hai ! ‘ Phew !!! Am I complaining ? Hell no ! Free food and well dressed men women in sparkling outfits is a sight to the eyes , I love weddings. But we have the whose and whose wedding we are going to attend. With so many of them marrying we have several marriages to attend and dressing up for them would be a pain if you do not have the right accessories !
There is no doubt the most important part of getting dressed for attending a wedding is a dress but lets talk about all the other things which follow after the dress! It could be that cute little clutch or that glossy handbag that holds all our makeup and cell phones , or it could be the right lipstick or even the right accessories .
Make sure you understand the do’s and don’ts while dressing up for a wedding. It’s very important to choose the perfect purse and accessories which requires some thought beforehand so you don’t find yourself wishing you had made a different choice. Here I am listing the top eight must have’s for every woman to own to look her best at every wedding she is attending !
1. Clutch or a Potli :
Blingy clutches go hand in hand with an elegant and simple non blingy dress ! You are not the bride so remember not to wear an over the top dress and stop yourself from being a disaster like Divya Khosla !Clutches in bold black, studded clutches or clutches that are eye catchy make or break a look . Hence its very important you choose the right clutch while going out for a wedding!
The potli is in the trend now, the best thing about them is you don’t have to clutch them but let fall gracefully from your wrist ! I think Sonam Kapoor and Diya Mirza are two Bollywood beauties who other than Rekha Ma’am carry the Potli trend with ease !

2. Makeup - Go The Red way ! : By going the red way I don’t mean you to paint yourself into red from head to toe. But red is one color that will set you apart and give you the wedding wali feeling . Its okay to go nude when you are into too much bling but for those who keep it subtle a red lipstick or maybe red colored nails will add the required punch to your look altogether! You can also get a red bindi with the help of your red color sindoor liquid applier or ! My favorite red makeup outing is my NYX Amsterdam Lip cream !

3. Rings : Accessories add a unique touch to your whole outfit but even one too many can be over-the-top with an already-embellished heavy lehengas or Banaras sarees ! Hence a huge ring or four finger ring or a two finger ring will complete your look and grab a lot of eye balls !

4. Jhumkis : An Indian outfit is incomplete without a pair of earrings! If you are opting for a gown which is blingy then I suggest that be your only time to skip earrings or don’t skip even then , wear an ear cuff! Now that the guests at an Indian wedding are mostly seen in designer lehengas and heavy worked or sweet anarkali’s a pair of jhumkis add the needed beauty touch to your whole look! Invest in a good pair of gold Jhumkas or just get yourself some awesome pieces of jhumkas from artificial jewelry range!
Silver jhumkis

5. Bangles or Bracelets : I always go wow when I see Deepika Padkone or Sonam wearing bangles with their sarees and ethnic wear ! Bangles beautify your hands but just remember not to over do it. Glass bangles, or simple gold kadas or a simple bracelet will work your look !

6. Shoes or Juttis: The right pair of shoes will complete your whole look . Just remember not to go hard on your feet by wearing uncomfortable heels or sky high wedges because a wedding means a lot of walking and standing! Also remember not to always match your footwear with your dress , you don't want to look too matchy-matchy. If you want to take the traditional route or the comfy route then you can simply opt for a pair of juttis ! :D

7. Mang Tika Or Nethi Chutti : Whoever said mang tikkas were only for the bride? gone are the days were only the bride was spotted adorning a mang tikka, thanks to our bollywood beauties who have got back in the trend! From Big pendant mang tikkas , to kundan and polki to pearly ones to single strand attached mang tikkas we have a plethora of choices ! Don’t shy away from trying them out , it’s the one thing that will set you apart from the others!

8. Flowers : Indian weddings are so much better than western wedding. The drama, the dresses, the music, the laughter and Yes the flowers ! no I am not talking about all the flower attractions in a wedding hall but the use of flowers by bride’s and all the guests attending the wedding. In south India I witnessed almost all women in their 40’s with mogra flowers around their buns . draped in a Banaras saree along with flowers adorned on their heads they make an elegant picture! As for those who want to try something new with the flowers you can wear them spun around your fishtail braids or even as a hand harness! Roses and lilies also can be used instead of mogra flowers.

Let me know if I missed anything in the comments or maybe you would like to add something to the must have list :)

The ‘Pari’ Haul : Ethnic Jewellery #ShoppingDiaries
May 18, 20150 Comments
100_8360
Jewellery is something that women swear by! And hence just like clothing, jewellery is all about colors and intricate designing ! Be it imitation jewellery or precious metal and stone jewellery , Indian women are way too fond of all kinds of jewellery .
When it comes to jewellery Indian jewellery has no match in the world. Chand Balis, Traditional gold plated bangles and fusion bracelets with charm bangles , huge earrings and cuffs are a few pieces in which Indian women don’t think twice before investing money in. How many of you’ve heard that if you want to impress a woman buy her beautiful jewellery & accessories ? Well if you have heard something in the similar lines than you must have an idea how much jewellery means to women all over the world.
Artificial Kundan style jewellery or silver imitation jewellery sets are all in fashion these days because gold & platinum is not always affordable & imitation jewellery is something which one can stock up to match all of their clothes or styles ! Plus I remember my granny advising to never carry gold jewellery with us during long train journey’s as it is not safe and hence we always ended up wearing imitation jewellery which for one is not a bad thing :D So yes imitation jewellery or artificial jewellery is the next big thing which is trending among Indian girls !
Recently while I was browsing through the Flipkart’s jewellery section I came across a brand named ‘The Pari’ which sold beautiful creations. And after I checked out their whole collection I couldn’t help but drool at all of their products. The next thing that followed was a lot of shopping from their collection :D So it was jewellery shopping time for me also something over which I was guilt-free for not having spent a fortune over the next piece of jewelry!

The Pari has a wide range jewellery and make earrings, pendants, chokers, necklaces, rings, bracelets. Their packaging was good . Each product came well packed in brown custom made boxes. You can buy their products from either from Flipkart, snapdeal or from their website.

I bought 3 sets of bracelets which are droolworthy along with it I bought two pairs of earrings. These bronze earrings are my favorite and they match most of my ethnic kurtas and I have already worn them 6-7 times ! Yayy! The only con about them are that they a lil heavy . The next pair of earrings are light on the ears and a treat to the eyes ! I have these on my wishlist since I saw them on Priyanka Chopra and the moment I set my eyes on this I knew I had to buy something like this ! *teeheee*

I bought a two finger ring . This is an absolute favorite of mine. I’ll tell you a secret I ordered a purple two flower double ring but instead of that they sent me this starry beauty and guess what I am thankful this confusion took place ! I lurvvvvv ring *I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT* Along with it I bought a pink ruby toned unique ring which I love equally !
Trendy fashionable rings The Pari
I am not a fan of cuffs and the only disappointment that came from The pari was this cuff. It discolored and turned bronze after a couple of outings.
100_8379
I bought two necklaces in silver , each different from the other. They were purchased with the intent of gifting but on receiving them I fell in love with one of them and only one among them went into the gifting list ;)
100_8359
And last of all I bought Gold plated bangles for my momma dearest and she is over the moon about them . So I guess they are good too :D the best buys were the stacked bracelets with charms in them ! I fell in love with these and now plan to buy more of them in other colors :D

Bollywood actresses - Short hair cut: Yay Or Nay ?
March 03, 20150 Comments
Short hair trend bollywood
What do Priyanka Chopra, Huma Qureshi, Anushka Sharma,Sonakshi Sinha, Nargis Fakhri and Diya Mirza have in common? Well all of these leading Bollywood beauties have opted for short tresses and got their lovely long tresses chopped off! Personally I myself love long beautiful black hair , but a lil experimenting here and there is alright but getting my tresses chopped off is something I am never going to do! However these 4 beauties have gone ahead with their haircuts and it did work for a few and for some it was just another disaster. But hey its just hair, its gonna grow back ;) First it was Sonakshi Sinha , then following her footsteps was Diya Mirza and later on Huma Qureshi took the trend , and now Priyanka Chopra chopped her lovely long hair !
Getting their haircuts Priyanka Sonakshi
I remember a few girls in my college being very cautious about their long hair (they would not get it cut even when it reached below their butt:p) , and mind you they wouldn’t give a shit if they looked horrid or gorgeous and went to say they were very proud of their long always plaited hair! But there were other few girls who complained their house rules included never cutting their hair, poor girls, imagine always having to spend hours washing them and all those long hours combing and setting their hair! We love long hair but hair so long it sweeps the ground literally is so not our cup of tea! :D
I had flowy soft hair that fell till my lower back but I got a haircut two weeks back and now they fall till my shoulders in soft waves ^_^ All thanks to our celebs ;) Everybody is going the short hair route in bollywood!
sonakshi sinha new hair cut short hair
Sonakshi Sinha got a hair cut which suits her well, she rocks it almost all the time. While she experiments even with her short hair I just wish she had sported her short hair do atleast once in her brother’s wedding celebrations. Other than that we have no complains here!
diya mirza short new hair cut
Diya Mirza carries her short hair do elegantly except that I liked her more in long hair. Don’t ask me why you can spot the difference yourself.
Priyanka chopra new haircut
Priyanka Chopra’s new haircut was praised by many of her fans and no doubt she looks ultra cute in her new hair cut but can you forget the Peecee with long dark tresses in her pop song ‘ exotic’
Huma Qureshi new hair cut
Huma Qureshi for once shocked me with her horrible hair cut and choice of hair color. Lets just say Ms Qureshi needs to take a cue from a few other celeb mates of hers.
Anushka Sharma new short hair cut
Anushka Sharma tops the charts when it comes to working the short hair do . Her shoulder length hair frames her face beautifully ! Also I simply cannot get past her short hair bob she sports in the movie, PK. I actually like Anushka’s hair do in PK much more than her real hair do ;)
Nargis fakhri new hair cut
Nargis Fakhri is the new entry in B town to have cut her hair and rumors have it she cut her own hair! The fringe does not do justice to that gorgeous face! She looked way better with the longer hair do !
Has the short hair trend caught up with you too?
Until next time,
Love

Statement clutches: One knuckle ring clutch bag !
February 26, 20150 Comments
Statement clutches , Wedding clutch
You would be living under a rock if you have never owned and flaunted a clutch ! ;)
The second best favorite accessory after handbags are none other than our clutches ! Clutches have come a long way from being dainty to heavy, light to sparkly, studded to boxy, from minaudiere to knuckle ring clutches and so on.
Clutches seem to have taken much popularity in society, especially with celebrities, which in turn has caught up with us ‘not so famous fashionistas’ ;) . Also, they can be really cute and add a simple trendy touch to an outfit. A clutch, is something you hold with your hands and is small and now occur in unbelievable shapes- from oval to box, triangle, to heart shaped and so many more! Perfect to pick up for a wedding or a function where all you have to carry is your cell phone, debit card (I don’t own a credit card *so proud :P* ) and maybe lipstick/gloss or even your favorite lip balm!
Wedding season has begun (Already done with three weddings this month ! Gosh! ) If you want something that will add a slight attention seeking edge to your overall look, check out the latest styles of studded knuckle clutches ! They are here to sweep you off your feet ! These blingy accessories feature a studded ring around the top of the clutch. There are quite a few places you can pick up this hot new style, and it’s a look that’s perfect for a wedding/ reception , or when you are the bride’s best friend , even better if you are the bride ;). Most of the styles also feature an addition chained rope so that you can wear the handbag in many different ways.
What  I am loving about this knuckle clutches is that it brings something totally different to the market, plus it’s an easy way to spice up an already blingy outfit! The cut-out ring also double as rings if you place your finger in them!) Now isn’t that something cool ! The knuckle handle of the gold and silver clutch I bought is a one clutch finger ring with cool embellishments and rhinestones, making it appear as if you were wearing a statement cocktail ring on practically each hand. Get a closer look at this growing knuckle ring clutch trend below.
Beautiful trendy clutches
Wedding one knuckle ring clutch
Wedding budget clutches
The knuckled clasp clutch is a big trend this season and Alexander McQueen's fall handbag collection is full of them, they are bold and statement making. (Did you know almost all knuckle ring clutches selling out there on snapdeal/flipkart/Amazon are inspired by their designs ?) And I can’t stop but add them to my wish list ! *cheeky grin*
Alexander McQueen and wedding clutches
I went window shopping for them the other day and couldn’t resist these two beauties! Temme which one fares better? I’ll go for that ;)
4 finger rhinestone clutch spiked
Whether you’re dressing up or down you can easily add the knuckle clutch trend to your get-up. It’s an effortless way to add a little edge and style to your ensemble . Its sometimes liberating to not carry a huge tote or a heavy handbag around all the time! It’s also a great item to keep in your tote if you want to refresh your outfit and take it from desk to dinner ;)
one ring knuckle wedding clutch
Now these beauties have turned into my favourite statement clutches ! Everyone in my family loved them so much they ended up buying the same (altogether 4 clutches in gold and 2 in silver of the same design and color at my home now *smh*) Although they are bling and in your face sparkly but at least they are unique! There’s nothing I dislike more than walking into a crowded room and having on something that someone else is wearing. Ugh :P
Will you try the knuckle clutch trend?
You can buy this clutch from here and here
Will you be wearing this trend for weddings and parties ? Do you already own a statement clutch that you simply adore? Let me know in the comment section!
Until next time.
Stay awesome!
Love,
Najm
