The ‘Pari’ Haul : Ethnic Jewellery #ShoppingDiaries

Jewellery is something that women swear by! And hence just like clothing, jewellery is all about colors and intricate designing ! Be it imitation jewellery or precious metal and stone jewellery , Indian women are way too fond of all kinds of jewellery .
When it comes to jewellery Indian jewellery has no match in the world. Chand Balis, Traditional gold plated bangles and fusion bracelets with charm bangles , huge earrings and cuffs are a few pieces in which Indian women don’t think twice before investing money in. How many of you’ve heard that if you want to impress a woman buy her beautiful jewellery & accessories ? Well if you have heard something in the similar lines than you must have an idea how much jewellery means to women all over the world.
Artificial Kundan style jewellery or silver imitation jewellery sets are all in fashion these days because gold & platinum is not always affordable & imitation jewellery is something which one can stock up to match all of their clothes or styles ! Plus I remember my granny advising to never carry gold jewellery with us during long train journey’s as it is not safe and hence we always ended up wearing imitation jewellery which for one is not a bad thing :D So yes imitation jewellery or artificial jewellery is the next big thing which is trending among Indian girls !
Recently while I was browsing through the Flipkart’s jewellery section I came across a brand named ‘The Pari’ which sold beautiful creations. And after I checked out their whole collection I couldn’t help but drool at all of their products.The next thing that followed was a lot of shopping from their collection :D So it was jewellery shopping time for me also something over which I was guilt-free for not having spent a fortune over the next piece of jewelry!

The Pari has a wide range jewellery and make earrings, pendants, chokers, necklaces, rings, bracelets. Their packaging was good . Each product came well packed in brown custom made boxes. You can buy their products from either from Flipkart, snapdeal or from their website.

I bought 3 sets of bracelets which are droolworthy along with it I bought two pairs of earrings. These bronze earrings are my favorite and they match most of my ethnic kurtas and I have already worn them 6-7 times ! Yayy! The only con about them are that they a lil heavy . The next pair of earrings are light on the ears and a treat to the eyes ! I have these on my wishlist since I saw them on Priyanka Chopra and the moment I set my eyes on this I knew I had to buy something like this ! *teeheee*

I bought a two finger ring . This is an absolute favorite of mine. I’ll tell you a secret I ordered a purple two flower double ring but instead of that they sent me this starry beauty and guess what I am thankful this confusion took place ! I lurvvvvv ring *I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT* Along with it I bought a pink ruby toned unique ring which I love equally !

I am not a fan of cuffs and the only disappointment that came from The pari was this cuff. It discolored and turned bronze after a couple of outings.

I bought two necklaces in silver , each different from the other. They were purchased with the intent of gifting but on receiving them I fell in love with one of them and only one among them went into the gifting list ;)

And last of all I bought Gold plated bangles for my momma dearest and she is over the moon about them . So I guess they are good too :D the best buys were the stacked bracelets with charms in them ! I fell in love with these and now plan to buy more of them in other colors :D

Flipkart keeps running discounts and sales and this is the best time to shop from The pari and become the proud owners of great jewellery that doesn’t cost the sky. Accessory Haul from Ebay #ShoppingDiaries

The best thing about online shopping is that they have sales running on them every now and then! I was looking for a few jewelled hairbands which I had on my wish list since long and I went window shopping on ebay as it’s the only website where we get every damn thing , yes , I mean it ! Every single thing which you might not get on Flipkart or amazon you’ll find it on ebay ! Ebay is a site where you’ll find things you simply can’t resist ! The best thing about it are the sweet sellers who send cute message cards along with the product which make me happy ^_^ Hence when ebay had a sale going on I hogged the moment and hauled up a few things..

I bought a necklace set which I intended to gift to one of my cousin. While I was browsing I stumbled upon an irresistible pair of ear cuffs in gold and a cheaper one in silver. I also bought a powder blush from Anne Andrea in peach which I am yet to try!

These gold plated ear cuffs are pretty to look at and lightweight when you wear them and cost me around 500 bucks . The only con about them is that they tend to hurt your ears after a period of 1 hour . My ears turned red and it was quite painful :/ I think the fault is with the designing. I recommend you to avoid buying these, its painful!

The same goes for the silver ones, they were as painful as the gold ones :(

The hairbands where love at first sight ! The gold studded floral hairband is now my favorite ! I have worn it more than 25 times ! *Happy face* The silver is yet to be worn. the material of the hairband is good but the satin at the ends tend to come out , I had to stick them back with fevikwik. Other than that they are a nice buy at a reasonable price.

The necklace came in a delicate package and I am glad there was no damage done to it. It’s a sweet light silver color studded necklace with earrings.

I loved the cards each seller sent with their respective products. they had a sweet message for me along with their website address. So that was my small haul from ebay. Have you shopped for jewellery from ebay? How was your experience?

In this recent post of ours, we already discussed how much we love jewelry and how we can never get enough of it!

Today we will be sharing with your some beautiful earrings which we Bling Sparklers got to haul on on a recent shopping venture to Commercial street(Bangalore).

Shivajinagar or Commercial street, is one of the hottest and biggest shopping streets of not only Bangalore but the whole of India. The collection and reasonable prices you get there cannot be found elsewhere so easily....you just have to know which shop to enter or which stall to shop from!

On eid-uz-Zuha, we Bling Sparklers got a chance to visit Shivajinagar and buy ourselves some jhumkis and jhoomars for our Eid outfits. As always the inevitable happened and we ended up lusting and buying more than we had ever intended too. Didn't click pictures of all things we bought but here are some pieces which we JUST couldn't resist clicking and sharing with you lovelies!

The best part was the fact that the prices of most of these were a steal! None of the pieceswent above Rs 500/- (Cool eh?!!)

We loved every bit of it, especially the jhumkis and the kadhas! :D

The love of pearls.. : After diamonds it’s the pearls that are the most enduring and timeless gemstone a woman can own. Pearls have been worn as jewelry by many women dating back many hundreds of years marking the beginning in 520 BC .
I once read that Pearls look appropriate with everything ! Its no doubt that they are looked upon as symbols of wisdom,beauty and elegance by women. Just not that I consider pearls as a symbol of class, power and sophistication.
When it comes to pearls it’s no wonder they’re worn by Celebrities , Queens and mostly by elderly women in the west.
However it is important a woman knows the right care for her beloved pearls, read more to find style tips , fun fact and care tips for pearls below.
Care Tips:

Avoid touching them more often and don’t store them in a dry place as pearls like a little moisture..
Don’t mix or dump your pearls with other jewellry in your jewellery boxes,If you throw pearls into a jewel box full of other tangled jewellery your pearls will soon lose their lustrous sparkle,
Its advised that you ‘put the pearls always at the last’ when you are getting groomed ie after application of makeup, spraying of perfumes and hair sprays and make sure the ‘pearls are the first ones to come off’ when you are done with your day and night activities.
Your poor pearls are soft and vulnerable & dainty ,, they tend to lose lose lustre
Perfumes and hair sprays damage earls the most and cause the pearls to lose their lustre. Bummer !
Do not bubble wrap your pearls as plastic causes more damage to it than you can endure !
It is said that its better if you stored your pearls at room temperature in silk pouches.
I would suggest that you take things a step further and actually take out time to clean your pearls every once in a while!
Its better if you take your pearls out on visits regularly as the best place to keep your pearls is on your neck! When pearls are adorned on necks, wrists or or in the form of other accessories it gives them chance to breathe and the body produces natural oils that pearls love and makes their lustre last longer!

Style Tips:
Are trend watchers have caught a lot of celebs flaunting their pearls off late . I might tag you as dumb if you consider these elegant pearls as strands for grandma’s *nasty stare*
Pearls embellishments are now a part of .jeans, jackets, hair accessories, shoes , & lemme assure you they undoubtedly can give you a high-fashion look straight from the runways and punk pearl jewellery adds luxe coolness to any outfit.
