I got my eyes checked at a local optician’s store and later used the information provided by him to buy lenses on Lenskart. It wasn’t an easy process neither was it complicated to buy lenses from Lenskart. I faced an issue with my order twice and had to cancel it both the times and place an order on the phone Other than that I am completely satisfied with their services.

The site is well organized and I was able to find what I was looking for without any hassles , not to forget we get a lot of discounts and its economical to buy lenses online as I had to pay double the amount when buying offline.

I heard a lot of negative reviews but went forward because it saved a lot of money and I hadn’t the time to visit my optician and place an order for a new set of lenses. I am happy  went forward with my order as I had no issues with the quality and was happy with their delivery and packaging.
Price: Reasonable. price is less compared to contact lenses old out offline.
Website: Organised, Efficient and authentic branded products are sold. I liked the option of filters and shortlist on the site.
Order Placement: Needs improvement. I was frustrated when my order got cancelled twice but their executive called up and placed my order for me via phone.
Products : Authentic and qualitative
Packaging: Excellent packaging
Delivery: My order was delivered within 10 days of time which is a little too long according to me. they could improve on their delivery time . I think it took them a little longer because I ordered a pair of toric power lenses.

Final Views:
I would definitely shop again on Lenskart but this time I do hope my order is placed in one go and I don’t get calls stating my order was incomplete and they would be cancelling it. For all those who have already used lenses this site is a boon and a money saver!

Recently while I was browsing through the Flipkart’s jewellery section I came across a brand named ‘The Pari’ which sold beautiful creations. And after I checked out their whole collection I couldn’t help but drool at all of their products.The next thing that followed was a lot of shopping from their collection :D So it was jewellery shopping time for me also something over which I was guilt-free for not having spent a fortune over the next piece of jewelry!



The Pari has a wide range jewellery and make earrings, pendants, chokers, necklaces, rings, bracelets. Their packaging was good . Each product came well packed in brown custom made boxes. You can buy their products from either from Flipkart, snapdeal or from their website.


I bought 3 sets of bracelets which are droolworthy along with it I bought two pairs of earrings. These bronze earrings are my favorite and they match most of my ethnic kurtas and I have already worn them 6-7 times ! Yayy! The only con about them are that they a lil heavy . The next pair of earrings are light on the ears and a treat to the eyes ! I have these on my wishlist since I saw them on Priyanka Chopra and the moment I set my eyes on this I knew I had to buy something like this ! *teeheee*

I bought a two finger ring . This is an absolute favorite of mine. I’ll tell you a secret I ordered a purple two flower double ring but instead of that they sent me this starry beauty and guess what I am thankful this confusion took place ! I lurvvvvv ring *I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT* Along with it I bought a pink ruby toned unique ring which I love equally !

I am not a fan of cuffs and the only disappointment that came from The pari was this cuff. It discolored and turned bronze after a couple of outings.

I bought two necklaces in silver , each different from the other. They were purchased with the intent of gifting but on receiving them I fell in love with one of them and only one among them went into the gifting list ;)

And last of all I bought Gold plated bangles for my momma dearest and she is over the moon about them . So I guess they are good too :D the best buys were the stacked bracelets with charms in them ! I fell in love with these and now plan to buy more of them in other colors :D


Flipkart keeps running discounts and sales and this is the best time to shop from The pari and become the proud owners of great jewellery that doesn’t cost the sky. Hello everybody!
A month back my ink jet printer crashed and when we took it to the repair guys they said they would charge about 3k for the printer . And we were left open mouthed, because hey you could get a new ink jet printed in 3k. So what if our printer was a HP printer acquitted with fax, scan and printing. It was over. that is when the search for a new printer began. And we wouldn't settle till we got the best one! And then Amazon happened ! After a lot of comparison of prices we found that no other site could beat Amazon when it came to printers and prices !
So within the next few days we zeroed upon a laser printer that had the feature of photo copying ! yayy! Just that it did not have fax but it was a godammn Samsung Multipurpose laser printer !
To seal the deal was the GOSF sale and the discount on the Laser printer we ordered just doubled ! Tralala ! Wasting no more time we ordered the printer immediately!
And guess what Amazon is awesome ! Because:
1. Discounts did not waver off after the GOSF sale (the discount happened during the GOSF but remained even after it ended , ie is when we bought , just after the GOSF had eneded!)
2. We get regular updates on our order through mails and SMS!
3. Absolutely loved the packaging!




4. It was bubble wrapped and came with some more extra protection !

5. The product was in perfect condition! And the installation was easy peasy , thanks to theinstruction guide!

6. The Amazon product page has helpful reviews from past buyers which helped us choose a good printer!
7. The overall packaging even after we opened package was awesome ! You can see it clearly in the pictures !

7. Free Shipping ! Plus delivery with 3-4 days after ordering ! That’s pretty fast ! ( But it just couldn’t beat Flipkart here!)

Although the only thing that we disliked was the plug in of the Samsung which required a Max size plug point . But that’s just a minor gripe. I would recommend this printer to each and everyone looking to buy a affordable multipurpose laser printer ! Its very good ! Just make sure you have enough space, it’s a tad bit huge than we expected it to be!

Loved the overall experience of shopping at Amazon and guess what I already placed my second order (Ear cuffs ) *Jump of joy* on Amazon ! Can’t wait for it to get delivered Will be up shortly on the blog!

Its July , time for a flat 51% off sale at Shopperstop ! Every year in July Shopperstop runs the end of summer season sale and I make sure I never miss sales by Shopperstop ! From discounts on accessories to apparel to footwear , women and men rush into the stores to shop before everything is out of stock. With stores in 68 locations throughout India they are one of leading business departmental stores spread across India offering few of the most best brands!

You can head to their stores or you could shop at their website , though I checked, the store offers are far more better than the online store.

The Bling Sparklers did end up splurging a lot of money(Post we the Shopperstop haul will be up soon :D) , but we were left disappointed by The L'Oreal counter. (Bannerghatta outlet- Be very sure to check the expiry dates if you’re buying from there)After we had purchased the infallible foundation along with 2 other cosmetic products and were back on our way to home , we happened check the expiry and realized the Saleswoman of L'Oreal had tricked us into buying expired products! At first we were damn furious and when we called their customer care in fury they apologized and asked us to bring the product so they could exchange it.There was no doubt we felt betrayed and cheated , So yeah we must go back to the store again.Gah ! But this is the first time they have disappointed me so we think we’ll try and forgive them only if they replace the expired products with a prolong sincere apology and returned back our precious time & petrol ofcourse, Grrrrrrrrrrr!. Nonetheless other than this bad experience everything else at the Sale seemed good.We clicked a few pictures , enjoy and don’t miss the sale, its fabulous!
