Price: 425 for 0.28 g
This liner was a part of my Lakme absolute haul . I am not a liner person and stick to black liners, but my sisters used so many blue liners that I wanted one for my myself. I chose this metallic blue colour which is a nice bright arty shade. This liner is very creamy and glides easily on lids.
The packaging is nice retractable pencil form which doesn’t require sharpening but I hate that this cant be retraced back i.re if you twist up a little too much it means problem!
The best part about forever silk liner is its staying power. It is smudge roof and water proof and lasts on eyelids for about 6 ours easily

Yays:
  • Decently priced
  • Easily Available
  • Nice metallic blue color
  • Super creamy texture
  • Fabulous staying power
  • Water proof
Nays:
  • the one way retract back packaging is flawed
  • Needs a make up remover to remove
Rating: ****/5
Verdict: This is a great liner to have if you like a pop of colour on your eyes.

Haul Time! - Lakme

If there is any range of cosmetics by Lakme I instantly fell in love with, it is the 'Absolute range'! Everything from the kajals to the nail paints is impressive! A few days back I got a chance to lay my hands on some awesome products from Lakme. Here are the pics and their short reviews:
All the three shades are lovely. Love the pastel limited edition one and the coral one the most! Everything from their packaging to the real product is wonderful about these nail paints.

This is a lovely mascara with a good staying power of 6-7 hours but it's not waterproof.
This shade of Lakme lipstick turned out to be a bit too dark for my likes. It's lying in my drawer untouched.
.
This is one shade I absolutely loved. It's hot fuchsia pink.

The Eyeconic kajal is most favorite product <3 It's simply AWESOME, and the violet eyeliner is lovely too!

Iam not comfortable with applying eyeliners. My hands way too shaky and I always end up getting a smudged line ruining my entire makeup. Iam still mastering the art, little by little and have shifted recently from pencil liners to liquid liners.
This liquid liner from lakme is from my moms stash (a lakme loyalist) . I find it easier to line my eyes with this flat bristled brush than the elle 18 liner and the staying power is just wow.

The Yays:
  • Sleek , classy travel friendly packaging
  • Staying power is great
  • quick drying
  • Smudge proof
  • The applicator helps draw precise lines, handy for beginners
  • Affordable
The Nays:
  • Not waterproof completely
  • Ingredient list “Where Art Thou”
Verdict: It is a good smudge proof black liner and a value for money deal.
