Grocery Shopping with PepperTap - Review

I have been doing a lot of shopping of late and there are a lot of haul posts pending. The independence day sales meant i splurged on some palazzos , junk jewellery , beauty essentials and grocery too. Yes you read it right, grocery and that too online on my mobile shopping app called Peppertap.

You know how the refrigerator is always magically stocked up by the genie called mom ? Last week my mom went visiting to my aunts place and three days later an almost empty fridge stared back at me . Shopping is like my best stress buster but grocery shopping is just not my thing. I hate sorting out vegetables and then getting them weighed and then again going and getting them billed in a longish queue. So to restock my refrigerator and essentials in my kitchen i decided to make use of services of grocery shopping mobile app peppertap which delivers at doorstep in under 2 hours.

On downloading the peppertap app and opening it the first time i was asked about my city and locality. Then i went on to browse for products and i was impressed to find a good list of essentials and grocery products all neatly categorized into sections like Popular, Fruits and vegetables, food and drink, breakfast and diary, staples and spices, Bath and body , home and hygiene and Baby Needs . So everything from your Surf excel to amul butter can be ordered just with a few taps . There is also a search bar on the right hand corner on top which comes handy if you want to search for a particular products. Adding and removing products from shopping cart is as easy as pressing + and _ buttons below every product and the total gets reflected at the bottom of the list.

Checking out and payment process is also simple and hassle free. You have to enter your details, choose a time slot or the earliest possible time (under 2 hours) and pay using your card or opt for their free Cash on Delivery service.

Peppertap offers free delivery on orders above 250/- and on orders less than 250 or an extra Rs 50 delivery charge is applicable. My order was delivered on time and my stuff was packaged nicely in a peppertap branded bag. Honestly the under 2 hours delivery time is an amazing claim and i thought they will surely be late but again peppertap surprised me. This app is a sure shot blessing for a person like me who doesnt like shopping grocery too much. It takes somewhere around an hour or 2 to beat the traffic, choose items and bill them off at a supermarket and when peppertap can deliver it to me in the same time frame minus the hassle, iam totally sold .

The best thing about online shopping is that they have sales running on them every now and then! I was looking for a few jewelled hairbands which I had on my wish list since long and I went window shopping on ebay as it’s the only website where we get every damn thing , yes , I mean it ! Every single thing which you might not get on Flipkart or amazon you’ll find it on ebay ! Ebay is a site where you’ll find things you simply can’t resist ! The best thing about it are the sweet sellers who send cute message cards along with the product which make me happy ^_^ Hence when ebay had a sale going on I hogged the moment and hauled up a few things..

I bought a necklace set which I intended to gift to one of my cousin. While I was browsing I stumbled upon an irresistible pair of ear cuffs in gold and a cheaper one in silver. I also bought a powder blush from Anne Andrea in peach which I am yet to try!

These gold plated ear cuffs are pretty to look at and lightweight when you wear them and cost me around 500 bucks . The only con about them is that they tend to hurt your ears after a period of 1 hour . My ears turned red and it was quite painful :/ I think the fault is with the designing. I recommend you to avoid buying these, its painful!

The same goes for the silver ones, they were as painful as the gold ones :(

The hairbands where love at first sight ! The gold studded floral hairband is now my favorite ! I have worn it more than 25 times ! *Happy face* The silver is yet to be worn. the material of the hairband is good but the satin at the ends tend to come out , I had to stick them back with fevikwik. Other than that they are a nice buy at a reasonable price.

The necklace came in a delicate package and I am glad there was no damage done to it. It’s a sweet light silver color studded necklace with earrings.

I loved the cards each seller sent with their respective products. they had a sweet message for me along with their website address. So that was my small haul from ebay. Have you shopped for jewellery from ebay? How was your experience?

Shopping experience at Amazon.in : Laser printer !

Hello everybody!
A month back my ink jet printer crashed and when we took it to the repair guys they said they would charge about 3k for the printer . And we were left open mouthed, because hey you could get a new ink jet printed in 3k. So what if our printer was a HP printer acquitted with fax, scan and printing. It was over. that is when the search for a new printer began. And we wouldn't settle till we got the best one! And then Amazon happened ! After a lot of comparison of prices we found that no other site could beat Amazon when it came to printers and prices !
So within the next few days we zeroed upon a laser printer that had the feature of photo copying ! yayy! Just that it did not have fax but it was a godammn Samsung Multipurpose laser printer !
To seal the deal was the GOSF sale and the discount on the Laser printer we ordered just doubled ! Tralala ! Wasting no more time we ordered the printer immediately!
And guess what Amazon is awesome ! Because:
1. Discounts did not waver off after the GOSF sale (the discount happened during the GOSF but remained even after it ended , ie is when we bought , just after the GOSF had eneded!)
2. We get regular updates on our order through mails and SMS!
3. Absolutely loved the packaging!

4. It was bubble wrapped and came with some more extra protection !

5. The product was in perfect condition! And the installation was easy peasy , thanks to theinstruction guide!

6. The Amazon product page has helpful reviews from past buyers which helped us choose a good printer!
7. The overall packaging even after we opened package was awesome ! You can see it clearly in the pictures !

7. Free Shipping ! Plus delivery with 3-4 days after ordering ! That’s pretty fast ! ( But it just couldn’t beat Flipkart here!)

Although the only thing that we disliked was the plug in of the Samsung which required a Max size plug point . But that’s just a minor gripe. I would recommend this printer to each and everyone looking to buy a affordable multipurpose laser printer ! Its very good ! Just make sure you have enough space, it’s a tad bit huge than we expected it to be!

Functions: Photocopying, scanning and printing. Prints both color and black ink pages.
Price: Priced at INR 12,999. We got it at a discounted price of INR 6,888 from Amazon.in ! Now selling at even less for INR 6590 !
Brand: There’s no need to go gaga over the famous and loved brand Samsung ! Plus Samsung has given the product a warranty of about two years ! We are just happy people haha!
Loved the overall experience of shopping at Amazon and guess what I already placed my second order (Ear cuffs ) *Jump of joy* on Amazon ! Can’t wait for it to get delivered Will be up shortly on the blog!

Been shopping a lot off late. First there was cousins marriage in bangalore and now again a cousin brother in Lucknow ties the knot in April and this is going to be one hell of shopping season .
Ive Shopped a lot from Yebhi, ive known them via facebook from the time they were called Bigshoebazaar.com , so well yebhi.com has always impressed me and kept me hooked to their site for a long. Yebhi is one stop destination for Apparel, Footwear, accessories, home and kitchen needs. I love this site for the wide range of footwear in different colours and styles they offer, havent shopped much apparel from them .

The website is user friendly and easy to navigate, especially after Yebhi revamped their site and gave it a Red look.

Customer Service: Yebhi has great cutomer service, I have always used facebook to interact with them and they are quick to resolve issues.
Shipping and Delivery: Yebhi offers free shipping on orders above 500 and they have free Cash on delivery option too. The Delivery is pretty prompt my orders have taken 2-5 days to reach me in the past. Yebhi don’t use third party courier services so delivery is quicker and another thing I like is the courier person is messaged before they arrive, so you can easily contact the person and inform them when to come.
Return Policy: Yebhi has fabulous 30 day return policy. I have returned some items from my orders in the past and it has been very hassle free experience. All you have to do is add the items to return cart and a person will be at your door step. Also I have tried their try and buy service which is super fab . You should definitely opt for it if buying footwear.

This particular haul was during Holi when they had their Real Clearance Sale. A whopping 43% off on already discounted products on purchases above 1999INR. How could I resist Smile with tongue out

I purchased a pair of gold embellished flats, Aiva Clutch in hot pink , pink leggings and flip flops.

How fabulous is that clutch? It was some 39% off and I got additional 43% off so it cost me around 550. Good deal eh? The photos havent come clear because I was so excited to open the package that i clicked images in a hurry. The clutch is so much more prettier in reality.
