Kaya Skin Clinic: Insta-Brightening mask, Daily Use Sunscreen & Face Cleanser Review!
October 21, 20150 Comments

kaya skin clnic magic reviews and swatches

Our face needs a little pampering every now and then. What better way to indulge in some Kaya Skin Clinic products ! Every now and then I like to pamper my skin and Kaya Skin Clinic Products are among favorites when it comes to giving my skin a little extra care. I have spotted several outlets of Kaya Skin Clinic in Bangalore but never got the chance to pay a visit to any of them.

Today I’ll be sharing my experience after using Kaya Skin Clinic Insta Brightening Micro-Mask , Kaya Skin Clinic Daily Use Sunscreen and Kaya Skin Clinic face Cleanser With Brightening Beads.

Kaya Skin Clinic Daily Care Sunscreen Review:

Price: INR 680 for 50ml

Application: I apply it half an hour before going out in the sun and I reapply it after every face wash..

Packaging: It comes in a unique yet tricky bottle which seems like a bottle within a bottle . The outer bottle is a transparent one while inner one is an opaque one which gives an illusion of a bigger bottle!

My experience :The package says that the formula has been researched and developed by dermatologists. And I would like to go by it as this sunscreen did not break my skin even though my skin type is oily. The sunscreen gives my face a matte finish and slides smoothly on my skin. It is a good moisturizer but I hardly use sunscreens and this is going to stay with me for a while.

Kaya Brightening Micro Mask Review :

Price: INR 2980 for 30ml

Packaging: This comes in an opaque plastic bottle with a pump on the top which disperses the gel

My experience : It’s a kind of a face pack which I use before important occasions like parties and wedding attending's. Its colorless and light and spreads easily on the face. The only thing about is the smell! I hate it ! I leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off with tap water and the effect lasts for about 3-4 hours max. After applying it the skin on my face felt stretchy and thick. I found my face to be soft and supple once I washed off the mask! Best to remove dullness and other impurities from my face and neck!

Kaya Skin Clinic Fairness Face Cleanser Review:

Price : INR350 for 100ml

Packaging : Comes in tube and reminds me of ponds facewash packaging! This doesn’t come with a dispenser but works out like other facewashes. It is easy to remove & hygienic to carry everyday in my bag.

Application: Dispense one pump on your finger tips and slowly cover your face with rubbing it in circular motions. Gently wash it off with water later.

My experience : Unlike other products from Kaya this one is priced reasonably while others cost me a fortune . I used this as a facewash and I like that it is mildly scented but it did not seem effective to remove blackheads and acne. I found my face fresh and soft after using this. It did unclog my pores and removed dirt from my face leaving my face soft and supple.

BlingSparkle’s final verdict:

These were my first  products I used from the brand kaya Skin Clinic and found that they manufacture quality products but I have my complaints. They are too pricey even for something that is dermatologically tested! I loved the fairness cleanser and the micro mask and I recommend it to those who are looking for a good face pack during the wedding preparations.

Mini haul from Limeroad.com
November 13, 20140 Comments
This haul happened sometime around February. Yup! That late an update - Blame it on 'laziness!'
Now, not wanting to delay it further, here I am! :)

Limeroad.com  is a lovely place to shop from. You get all types of products which will suit every women's tastes!

I had already bought a pair of pumps from 'Balujas', Limeroad, a few days prio to this haul and was totally besotted with them. They were gold and screamed 'GORGEOUS'. You can check them out here.

So, I wanted them in more colors and this pair turned out more prettier with all the lace detailing! ^^
They look more prettier in reality. The pictures do NO justice!
 These cost me around 899/-
 Love 'em! ^^
These are the other two things I brought along with the pumps. While the pumps were a total eye-candy, these too didn't score that well!

That sparkle eyeliner was not that bad, I liked it, but the peel off mask was a burning nightmare! When I say 'burning' I literally mean it! >_<

The trio with their different skin types (Read: Me:Combination; Najmun: Oily; Zooni: Dry) tried this out and it was a different level of disaster for each one of us.

It felt like someone had just skinned my face alive! TOTALLY dries your skin, and screw the 'cleansing' part!

Bling Sparkle Trio advice: Buy the above mask only if you have 'down to earth' oily skin! Rest of you, stay away from such brands!

By the by, the pumps were real pretty and that covers the little masky disaster, so no pain here! :)

Neutrogena Face Mask Review
March 22, 20141 Comments
"This is an article in response to the ongoing FaceCare for the Miss India in You Contest powered by Neutrogena, conducted by Purplle.com for the upcoming Miss India 2014 Pageant."
Recently, I happened to learn a lot about the new beauty brand, Neutrogena through my blogger friends. All of them said that they were in love with the nature-based products from this brand. So, I was eager to try out something from Neutrogena and fortunately, I got a chance to lay my hands on this wonderful face mask.

This was my first experience with face masks and I am glad that it turned out so lovely!
THE PACKAGING: This face mask comes in a very hygienic, easy to open packaging. The anti-penetrate outer wrapper keeps the mask inside hydrated and prevents it from drying out.
The packaging is travel friendly.
THE SCENT: It smells of fresh leaves and moisturising creams. I love its subtle scent! The scent lingers on my face even after 30-40 minutes of removing the mask.

HOW TO USE: It's very easy and simple! The 'how-to-apply' instructions are clearly mentioned with illustrations on a leaflet which comes with this pack. Apply the mask before any makeup application on a clean face and leave it for 15-20 minutes on your face and then discard it. DO NOT wash your face after that!
THE FEEL: It feels like soft snow on my hands. As though it has just walked out of a milk tub.

IS IT EFFECTIVE?: Absolutely! While I am not sure or rather care about the fairness part, I think it acts as a lovely pre make up face treatment. I have used it before many occasions and got wonderful results!
THE PRICE: Rs149/- per mask.
WHAT I LOVE:
*It gives me an instant salon experience. Since the day I have started using these masks for my special occasions, I have never felt the need to go to a spa or a parlour for a facial.
*It's super hydrating! It beautifully moisturised every part of my face in just 15 minutes. On removing the mask off, I feel very refreshed and rejuvenated.
*It releases pangs of tensions
*Gives a healthy glow to my face
*Act as a beautiful toner and primer.
My Complains:
None!Seriously? Yes! Apart from the fact that it scares off everybody from me while I am wearing it(Read the story in the P.S part), I have no issues with it at all! Its simply awesome!

TIPS TO USE THIS MASK EFFECTIVELY:
*Refrigerate it thirty minutes prior to application. This will give you 100% better experience!
*Apply on a clean face and don't wash your face after removing it or the glow will go.
*Try not moving around the house while you are wearing it or you will, I mean, your masked face will scare the lives out of people. ;)

So, have you tried this out? What was your experience with it?

P.S: I thought it would be great if I shared this little incident with you all :D. It so happened that while getting ready to attend a wedding, both me and my sister were wearing this mask and looking like ghosts when suddenly there was a knock on the door, it was a courier boy. Both of us looked at each other and then at the mirror. As no one else was at home, we had to take the courier and when I opened the door, the poor courier guy got a mini heart attack. Hehe! You had to look at his face - It was priceless! Hahaha..Lol! He managed to not scream and drew back his courage and gave me the courier. Hehe! We had a good laugh after we saw him run out of our building hurriedly. :D

Lotsa Love,
