Yay or Nay: Vidya receives Padma Shri in Yellow Slik Saree

Vidya Balan received Padma Shri from President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan and for this occasion Vidya balan not surprising anyone chose a silk saree.

Vidya who loves draping herself in sarees chose a cheery yellow colour and jewellery by Jaipur gems . She also added mogra in her hair and completed the look with red lips.

Vidya sure looked great, but I think there was too much jewelry, considering this wasn’t a wedding she could have skipped the necklace.

Overall vidya looked radiant and this is a definite Yay for me.

BTW congratulation to Vidya for winning the award. She deserves every bit of it Smile

On a promotional spree for her film Shadi ke Side Effects Vidya has been seen ditching her saree for good and giving us some fresh new looks.
For promotion on the sets of Nach Baliye Vidya chose this Blue Maxi, a look which I would have loved if the neckline wasn’t That deep.

For the trailer launch vidya wore this pink dress and those striped black and white wedges , how fabulous does she look.

Wearing Anita Dongre maxi for Shaadi Ke Side Effects promotions in Kolkata she looked refreshing and so much younger. love.
