Jewellery is something that women swear by! And hence just like clothing, jewellery is all about colors and intricate designing ! Be it imitation jewellery or precious metal and stone jewellery , Indian women are way too fond of all kinds of jewellery .
When it comes to jewellery Indian jewellery has no match in the world. Chand Balis, Traditional gold plated bangles and fusion bracelets with charm bangles , huge earrings and cuffs are a few pieces in which Indian women don’t think twice before investing money in. How many of you’ve heard that if you want to impress a woman buy her beautiful jewellery & accessories ? Well if you have heard something in the similar lines than you must have an idea how much jewellery means to women all over the world.
Artificial Kundan style jewellery or silver imitation jewellery sets are all in fashion these days because gold & platinum is not always affordable & imitation jewellery is something which one can stock up to match all of their clothes or styles ! Plus I remember my granny advising to never carry gold jewellery with us during long train journey’s as it is not safe and hence we always ended up wearing imitation jewellery which for one is not a bad thing :D So yes imitation jewellery or artificial jewellery is the next big thing which is trending among Indian girls !
Recently while I was browsing through the Flipkart’s jewellery section I came across a brand named ‘The Pari’ which sold beautiful creations. And after I checked out their whole collection I couldn’t help but drool at all of their products. The next thing that followed was a lot of shopping from their collection :D So it was jewellery shopping time for me also something over which I was guilt-free for not having spent a fortune over the next piece of jewelry!

The Pari has a wide range jewellery and make earrings, pendants, chokers, necklaces, rings, bracelets. Their packaging was good . Each product came well packed in brown custom made boxes. You can buy their products from either from Flipkart, snapdeal or from their website.

I bought 3 sets of bracelets which are droolworthy along with it I bought two pairs of earrings. These bronze earrings are my favorite and they match most of my ethnic kurtas and I have already worn them 6-7 times ! Yayy! The only con about them are that they a lil heavy . The next pair of earrings are light on the ears and a treat to the eyes ! I have these on my wishlist since I saw them on Priyanka Chopra and the moment I set my eyes on this I knew I had to buy something like this ! *teeheee*

I bought a two finger ring . This is an absolute favorite of mine. I’ll tell you a secret I ordered a purple two flower double ring but instead of that they sent me this starry beauty and guess what I am thankful this confusion took place ! I lurvvvvv ring *I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT* Along with it I bought a pink ruby toned unique ring which I love equally !
Trendy fashionable rings The Pari
I am not a fan of cuffs and the only disappointment that came from The pari was this cuff. It discolored and turned bronze after a couple of outings.

I bought two necklaces in silver , each different from the other. They were purchased with the intent of gifting but on receiving them I fell in love with one of them and only one among them went into the gifting list ;)

And last of all I bought Gold plated bangles for my momma dearest and she is over the moon about them . So I guess they are good too :D the best buys were the stacked bracelets with charms in them ! I fell in love with these and now plan to buy more of them in other colors :D

April 15, 20150 Comments
We at blingsparkle love all things bridal and when the bridal Asia 2015 happened last last week how could we not take a peek into it?
We ofcourse did not visit the show physically but we got all details and a big fat peek into it thanks to social networking sites. The hashtag #bridalasia2015 was even trending in india and that is how this show happening  in mumbai came to our notice.

Lets show you some favourites from all that we could see online

This uber pretty gota patti lehenga by Swati Ubroi is pure awesomeness. Love the peplum  kind of style she gives to the choli. If white jam packed with colours like this who wouldn't wear it to wedding?

These Floral jhumkas from Vasundara fine jewellery caught our eye. Major love

I loved this black cilvana design creation.  Love how the sheer asymmetrical hemline jacket falls over the black gown. Perfect for a wedding reception.

For a brides sister or friend wants to keep it simple..These two gorgeous pieces are lovely. Especially love the white gold ensemble where an ombre dupatta adds colour.

This necklace is for brides who want to layer over a plain high necked choli.

These lovetobag pastel clutches are amazing. Iam crushing those small semicurcular ones.

This payal gupta chand bali loaded with intricate detailing is sheer beauty

Love this cape style lace choli  on this lehenga. Perfect for people who want to make a statement yet  go bling free at a wedding.

How summery is this ? The flowy light weight  lehenga and the bird motifs are super cute

Jewery haul ~ Commercial street
December 05, 20140 Comments
In this recent post of ours, we already discussed how much we love jewelry and how we can never get enough of it!

Today we will be sharing with your some beautiful earrings which we Bling Sparklers got to haul on on a recent shopping venture to Commercial street(Bangalore).

Shivajinagar or Commercial street, is one of the hottest and biggest shopping streets of not only Bangalore but the whole of India. The collection and reasonable prices you get there cannot be found elsewhere so easily....you just have to know which shop to enter or which stall to shop from!

On eid-uz-Zuha, we Bling Sparklers got a chance to visit Shivajinagar and buy ourselves some jhumkis and jhoomars for our Eid outfits. As always the inevitable happened and we ended up lusting and buying more than we had ever intended too. Didn't click pictures of all things we bought but here are some pieces which we JUST couldn't resist clicking and sharing with you lovelies!

The best part was the fact that the prices of most of these were a steal! None of the pieceswent above Rs 500/- (Cool eh?!!)

We loved every bit of it, especially the jhumkis and the kadhas! :D
What's your pick? Do let us know!!

Ethnic earrings : Trend alert for ethnic wear!
August 30, 20140 Comments
Beautiful ethnic earrings
Exquisite ethnic Indian earrings are staple to every women’s jewellery box. These heavy and unique earrings are a must have for bridal trousseaus. These earrings be in chandeliers, jhumkas or drop earrings add glamour to an outfit you wear and work wonders to get you be the centre of attraction in any party or wedding or even a festival!
Danglers and Jhumkis You can buy all of these from Flipkart.
Everyone woman would want to standout in the crowd she moves with. Whether be at work, or home or out with friends or family, she simply wants to look her best. Today I thought of sharing my views on what are the must-haves in your ethnic earring collection to help you make your own style statements.
It is important to remember that the right earrings will draw attention to your face and enhance your most attractive qualities .
Drop earrings, flipkart Buy these on Flipkart.com
Danglers and Jhumkis have been indispensable partners to complete your Indian look. You can never go wrong with a pair of handpicked earrings especially designed to add to the beauty of an Indian ensemble. A wide range of long, drop, chand balis and jhumki earrings can take your entire look a notch higher in making a ethnic fashion statement!
Chand balis
Whether stepping out for work or a gathering, earrings are a must have on. And with increasing ethnic tops and anarkali kurtis and kurtas , Indian women and girls must have access to the best of Ethnic earrings !
It is no doubt that  huge chandelier earrings or delicate danglers add the required elegance to the person wearing it and gives an ethnic look. These earrings are perfect for all occasions as they look great with different types of dresses. But they are complete no to pair with LBD’s or western wear!
As beautiful they are they are not the always the easiest piece of jewellery to wear. Here are a few do’s and don’ts of wearing ethnic earrings.
Do’s and Don'ts to remember while choosing and wearing ethnic earrings :
  • Don’t try to pair these set of earrings with short dresses and halter neck maxis or even on jeans, they often end up a look rated as a DISASTER !
  • They go well with sarees, ghagras, anarkali suits , floor length anarkalis, bridal wear , salwar kameez and lehengas…
  • To show of the real beauty of these earrings you actually took so much pain to wear such heavy stuff, tie your hair up into an elegant ponytail, or a neat /messy bun. You can also part all your hair at the side to show of these beauties!
  • Its important you match your ethnic earrings with the outfit you are wearing in order to look beautiful.
  • These type of earrings can get very heavy hence its important you find the right earring clasp or hook wala balis ! I prefer hook jhumkas and chandelier earrings with a chain at the back to hook it to my hair for support!
  • Don’t wear your earrings before the event has started , as they are heavy and tend to cause pain if worn for longer periods but a few earrings are light , choose wisely according to how much time you’ll be spending at the event/function.
  • Its recommended to wear heavy chand balis and jhumkas only when you are leaving for the event at the last moment .
  • Don’t mix and match your ethnic earrings with huge statement necklaces as they often tend to give ugly cluttered look.
  • Don’t wear heavy ethnic earrings the whole day as they tend to elongate the earlobe .
  • Don’t wear them on a professional attire , it will end up giving an unprofessional look. Even though you could wear small or light danglers they give a simple professional attire a fashionable edge.
Bollywood earring style
Also I am so Loving the ethnic earrings celebrities from our very own Blooywood are sporting ! Want all of them ^_^ . Next time you go shopping for ethnic earrings do keep all the points listed above in check!
Happy shopping!
Enjoy winters!
Love,
Najm Nisa!
